In 1998 Madeleine Kirsh opened her first store in Palm Beach County, Florida. Madeleine’s reputation as an interior decorator had been built on her love of the unusual. By combining this with her vast knowledge of fashion, she quickly developed a loyal following and the store was an instant success. With business thriving and a growing international clientele, it was inevitable the next step would be a move to Miami.

C. Madeleine’s ATTIC is NOW open

Every year we consider thousands of items to sell in C. Madeleine’s. We are very selective about what we choose and only accept the finest quality for placement on our floor. It is hard for us to turn down a great piece so many times we temporarily store these extras in the ATTIC (Madeleine’s little friends live in the basement).

We now are faced with a dilemma. Fortunately the great items keep on coming but now the ATTIC is overrun. We can either refuse many wonderful high quality garments or find a way to get them to you, our loyal customers. Our little friends in the basement came up with a brilliant idea. Instead of taking over some of their space we should place these pieces on the Internet for everyone to enjoy. So the ATTIC category on the e-commerce store was born.

The ATTIC will feature the same quality pieces synonymous with C. Madeleine’s. However, because many have missing labels the prices will be less. So as long as you are not a collector or a logo maniac it is a win-win situation. You will be getting all the raves and compliments for owning an amazing vintage garment and still have saved.
